At the park
Waste
We would like to ask you to collect your waste and bring it to the waste disposal site. The containers can be found in the car park at the entrance to the park. Spent batteries can be handed in at reception.
Animation
During the school holidays the entertainment team organises various activities at EuroParcs Ruinen.
Car
The maximum speed permitted in the park is 5 km per hour. If you violate this rule, your card will be blocked.
You can park your car at the holiday home. Additional cars may only be parked in the parking spaces shown on the map. Cars may not be parked on the road.
Visit
Visitors are welcome. However, they must report in advance to the reception desk. Visitors can park their cars in the central car park near the entrance.
Reception
At reception you can get information about the park and the surroundings. The reception can also inform you about renting a bike or an e-chopper and there are cycling and walking routes available. In addition, the reception desk can provide you with cots, high chairs, towels and/or kitchen packages.
Technical service
If there is a technical malfunction or a defect to an appliance/furniture, you can contact the reception desk. You can reach the reception desk via 088-7603423.
Wifi
WiFi is available free of charge at our park.
Parcels
Unfortunately, we cannot accept parcels. It is therfore not possible to have parcels deliverd to the park.

Welcome to EuroParcs Ruinen, where you can enjoy a relaxing stay in Drenthe. During reception opening hours, you can easily check in at the park reception.
Arriving outside reception opening hours? You can make use of a key safe. We kindly ask you to inform reception of your expected arrival time in advance so that your arrival can be arranged smoothly.
If applicable, you will receive the necessary access information before your arrival.
We recommend that you check your accommodation and inventory immediately upon arrival for completeness and any possible damage. If you notice any issues regarding the inventory, cleanliness or the accommodation itself, please report them to reception within 2 hours of arrival.
If any damage or defects occur during your stay, please report them to reception as soon as possible. This allows us to assist you quickly and ensure your stay remains as pleasant as possible.

Check-out is on the day of departure before 10:00 AM.
If you are unable to check out at reception, please place your key in the mailbox of the key safe. When leaving the park through the barrier gate, you will find it on the right-hand side near the central parking area.
Together, we help ensure that the accommodation is clean and ready for the next guests.

Swimming Pool Rules
Please note that our swimming pool is unsupervised, which means there is no lifeguard on duty. You may enter and use the swimming pool at your own risk and upon presentation of a valid QR code.
We kindly ask you to follow the house rules at all times.
- Our guests have free access to the swimming pool.
- You have received a swimming pool ticket. This ticket contains a barcode that can be scanned at the entrance gates of the swimming pool.
- Pool tickets are only issued to guests aged 18 and over.
- Children without a swimming certificate are required to wear swimming armbands.

EuroParcs Ruinen is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest bus stop is a 10-minute walk from the park. From this bus stop (Bederseweg), you can easily reach Hoogeveen station (the nearest train station).

We have one central charging point for electric cars. After passing the barrier at the reception, continue driving until you reach the large barn on the left-hand side. You can use your own charging card to charge your vehicle there.

Yes, we have a laundry facility where you can wash and dry your clothes. Payment can be made via iDEAL/Wero. The laundry facility is located next to the sanitary building.

Yes, barbecuing is allowed. However, only gas and electric barbecues are permitted at this park.

The municipality has increased the tourist tax rate from €1.30 to €1.75 in 2026. The age exemption for children under 12 has been abolished. EuroParcs collects these taxes and pays them to the municipality.

The barrier is operational daily from 7:00 AM until 12:00 AM (midnight). You can leave the holiday park by car at any time. However, before 7:00 AM and after 11:00 PM, access to the park is only possible on foot. You can park your car in the central car park during these hours.

Yes, that is possible. We have several parking spaces, including parking near the accommodations. Please note that only one car per accommodation is permitted on the park.
