Facilities at EuroParcs Ruinen Holiday Park

Swimming a few lengths or sliding down the waterslide is all possible at EuroParcs Ruinen's indoor swimming pool. Even in bad weather, you can enjoy the warm water. The little ones can splash around in the separate paddling pool. On weekdays, there are swimming lessons in between.

Klimmen, klauteren, springen, glijden en spelen… Ook als het geen lekker weer is vermaken de kinderen (tot 8 jaar) zich kostelijk in onze indoor speeltuin.

Our small but nice park shop is located next to the reception. Here you can get a nice cold drink, some groceries, games and more. You can pay for your groceries yourself at the self-scan.

Come and enjoy a meal or snack at Friends ‘n Bites! Take a seat inside for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, lunch with a tasty panini and, in the afternoon, find a spot on the terrace for a drink with snacks. Our menu features delicious burgers, schnitzels and loaded fries. For children, there is a Yuki Kids Meal and delicious ice cream desserts.

Reservations can be made at the restaurant itself. If the restaurant is closed, reservations can be made at reception.

Fancy some chips and a tasty snack? You can do so at the park's snack bar. You will find it near the restaurant. Enjoy on the terrace or take your order back to your accommodation!

Play some golf with the family on our challenging, but fun miniature golf course! The price is €3.50 and there is no need to make a reservation.

What better way to explore Drenthe's national parks and villages than by bike? We have a wide range of bicycles, children's bikes and seats. Ask at reception for availability.

Relax in the sauna at EuroParcs Ruinen.

Need a moment to yourself? Relax completely in our sauna. This outdoor sauna is great for relaxing in the middle of nature. You can hire the sauna privately or reserve a time slot to use it with others.

During the (school) holidays, our park offers the coolest entertainment activities for all ages with our Fun Heroes. The Fun Heroes are travelling entertainment teams who visit our holiday park. The teams organize sporting activities as well as great shows and creative craft activities. Curious about the current programme at the park? At EuroParcs Ruinen, you will find a dog play area. At the dog play meadow, dogs can run free and run around. The meadow is fenced and there are several pieces of playground equipment. It is also possible to wash your dog here.

At our holiday park, we have marked out a dog trail. This can be found on our park map, marked with a T and the red dotted line. This is a nice route to walk (on a leash) with your dog.

See our lovely animals at the petting zoo at EuroParcs Ruinen. You are not allowed to cuddle the animals in the meadow.

Scattered around the park you will find various playgrounds for the kids. In the central playground, you can climb, clamber, swing or play ping-pong. In the natural playground, you can also bounce on the big bouncy castle!

Dammen en zandkastelen bouwen, spetteren of roetsjen van de kabelbaan. De natuurspeeltuin, waar alles in het teken staat van zand en water, is een waar paradijs voor onze kleine gasten. Geniet van een drankje op het terras en houd ondertussen de kinderen in de gaten.

As a guest of EuroParcs Ruinen, it is possible to use the swimming pool for free. Pick up your voucher at our reception and hand it in at the swimming pool. The swimming pool is open from May to September.

Next to EuroParcs Ruinen is Zwembad Ruinen. During the hot summer days, you can cool off here! The water has a pleasant temperature of 26 degrees. Slide down the slide, splash around in the water or take a relaxing swim in the pool's wellness pool.

In the park you can use the central sanitary building. This has toilets, showers, washing cabins, children's sanitary facilities, a baby washroom, dishwashing facilities and a disposal area for chemical toilets.

Our launderette is available for use 24/7. You can pay by pin.

At our holiday park, you can easily order barbecue and gourmet packages. The barbecue or gourmet set is provided, so you can enjoy without any hassle. There are various packages available, so there's something for everyone!

Dogs are welcome! Your dogs needs to be on a leash at all times. Convenient: there are special waste bags and bins to be found to clear up after your pet. This way we keep it clear for all. In the area around the park there are a lot of walking routes and nature parks, where you can go with your four-legged friend (on a leash, of course).

Good to know: pets are allowed in some accommodation. You can also book specially equipped accommodation for your holiday with dog. This accommodation is fenced, has a water and food bowl and a crate.
